We are proud to announce that Anindya Debnath, a PhD candidate in Civil Engineering at the University of Arkansas and esteemed member of ZeRo Lab has been selected as the 2025 national recipient of the Meddin Emerging Research Scholarship, awarded by the North American Bikeshare & Scootershare Association (NABSA).

Anindya is a former Fulbright Scholar and emerging leader in the field of transportation systems and sustainable mobility. His research focuses on travel behavior analysis and strategies for improving transportation efficiency and equity. At ZeRo lab, Anindya works under the guidance of Dr. Suman Mitra, pursuing policy-relevant, interdisciplinary research at the intersection of shared mobility and behavioral modeling.

The Meddin Emerging Research Scholarship recognizes promising new voices in shared micromobility research. As Ani continues his doctoral work, we are excited to see how his insights will shape a more inclusive and responsive transportation future.
